Dangerous Curves was founded in 1995 by Donna Tschopp in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 1996, Donna relocated her fitness consulting and training business to Memphis, Tennessee. Donna holds the American College of Sports Medicine Certification, an equivalent to a Masters in Exercise Science. She has worked and studied with fitness professionals such as:
  • The Secretary General and Coach of the North, Central American & Caribbean Islands Weightlifting Confederation, Rafael Guerrero
  • Pierre Bolszak, MA in Physical Education from the University of Lille, France, certified in Feldenkrais Method and studies in Eutony
  • Dr. Anthony Abbott of the Fitness Institute International, Boca Raton, Florida
Some of Donna's accomplishments include:
  • Over 20 years experience of instructing aerobic and free weight training
  • Participant for 5 years of a Delray Beach, FL catamaran ocean sailing and rescue team.
  • October 1996, she was the cover model and feature article “Pregnant and Powerful” for Health and Fitness Magazine where she, at 7 months pregnant, demonstrated with ease squatting sets of 155 lbs.
  • June 1997, head judge of Ms. Fitness America regional contest: TN, AR, & MS
